happy halloween!

Boo!
Happy Halloween to you all!

Two weekends ago, I stopped by Homegoods/TJ Maxx to buy new towels for TM and found the biggest bear. I was tempted to bring it home with me!
It was so soft. I would love to snuggle with this guy!

I also stopped by A.C. Moore to get pumpkin carving kits for me and AB. I haven't carved a pumpkin in years! It was super fun (once we figured out how to use the stencils...it was far more complicated than we expect! "7 years and up" my ass!).
The cat was carved by yours truly, and AB made the ghost!

We also toasted the seeds with some olive oil, and I was happy I finally got some use out of one of my Missoni for Target bowls that I 'had to have'.

I also bought glitter and spray glue to make these little beauties. Note to anyone that buys spray glue: It gets everywhere. We sprayed it over a trash bag that was covering our table, but then everything got stuck to the trash bag -- our fingers, the pumpkins, everything. Then, we just sprayed it away from the table into the air, and got the hardwood floor sticky. We're geniuses, I swear!

All this festive action has made us so excited for Christmas! And since it snowed in Boston this weekend, it seems our wintry-mood is totally justified.

halloween.

Clutch, Asos
Happy Halloween all! If we are being honest, I am not a huge Halloween fan, but that doesn't mean I don't like festive Halloween colors! Love that this dress combines the classic orange + black for Halloween, but ties in hot pink, cranberry, and some beige, so you can wear it on days other than October 31st.

Do you all have Halloween plans? What are you dressing up as?

lust-list -- kitchen edition.

For the longest time, I have wanted a Kitchen-Aid mixer so I can bake to my heart's content. Luckily, I have a lovely mother who lives a mere 30-minutes away and let's me use hers. But.. I couldn't help but drool when I saw this beauty...

I dream of owning a kitchen one day full of Mauviel copper pots and pans, and now, I am adding this to the list! It is gorgeous! Has this been out for awhile? If so, how did I miss this?! So amazing. I am obsessed!

Happy Thursday, kittens. xo.

dvf shane tie-waist jacket

I am such a sucker for a chic fall jacket,
hence why I am loving this Diane von Furstenberg Shane Tie-Waist jacket. She always gets it perfect, down to every last detail.

It is uber-feminine, but the leather trim adds just the right amount of edge.

random ramblings

I can't believe I haven't had a chance to tell you guys about my trip to NY+NJ with TM two weekends ago. More pictures, less words ... promise!

KZ + JC were such great hosts while we stayed with them the first half of the trip.
I may have had one too many John Daly's at The Clinton Social in Hoboken.

How lucky were we that we got to the newly-opened Laduree when there was no line?
Yes, you heard me correctly. I was fully prepped for at least an hour wait.
The macaron Gods were looking after me!

We tried some coconut, salted caramel, pistachio, coffee, and praline,
which were delicious even after some got smushed in the car (oops).
That woman in front of us was a baller -- went craycray on macarons + even bought Laduree playing cards, perfume + candles.
Hopefully we will have the same luck next trip!

Lunch at Fig & Olive before heading home {I highly recommend}

Loving both of these products this week..

OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow Lacquer // Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment

I've also officially phased into using Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream instead of moisturizer.
