big willie style

Two of my favorite gals, CB and RC, and I have been trying to plan a trip since we graduated college {almost three years ago, eeks!}.  We were all born within about a month of each other, so we decided to give ourselves a little gift and are headed to MIAMI in April {hence the Will Smith CD above, 'Miami' will definitely be played ad nauseum this trip!}.  Cannot wait to get my tan on, and my drink on.

So.. I am headed to Naples first, for three days, then driving to Miami to meet the gals for 5ish days.

Naturally, my first though is SHOPPING! You should all know by now, that I was never going to make it an entier month without shopping {which I promised to myself, and you lovelies, at the beginning of March}.

I failed you. My apologies.

I ordered two bikinis, one L*Space, the other is Tibi, which I can't find pictures of but will post later on.  Um.. has anyone noticed that the cut of bikini bottoms is getting outrageous? I do recognize that I am bootylicious, but really, I don't want half of my butt showing! If you know of a good brand that doesn't sell styles that make you half-naked, let me know! I am digging these bikinis from VS, but are both backordered until after my trip.

VS Push-Up bikini tops with foldover low rise bottoms, in Leona Animal and White Floral

I also ordered a bunch of shiz from Old Navy, which, is amazing lately. I also just looked on their website and found more I want to order! I will post about my Old Navy haul later on..

But for now, I want to know, what are your go-to beach vaca items?

And, have you been to Miami? Where should we go, eat, drink, etc?!

xoxo!

let's play catch up!

hi lovelies!

Well, i must say, this was an unexpected blog hiatus on my part. Very glad to be back! It was nice to hear that a friend's roommate was asking her when I would get back to blogging (glad someone misses me!), so here I am!

What have I been up to you ask?  My friend KZ paid me a visit for St. Patrick's Day. Friday night we hit up Hillstone, Sail Loft, and the Liberty Hotel (their lobby turns into a bar of sorts).

I broke out my fur vest for one last time this winter!

We had one main mission: make it to Sunset Cantina.
If you went to BU, you are all too familiar with this establishment.
The lime and coconut margaritas were legit sent down from the heavens.

It was such a beautiful day. We decided to bike the couple miles to Sunset via Boston's public bicycle system, The Hubway.

It was so fun, that I invested in a year Hubway membership. I use it to and from my cycling studio - it is  a great warm-up and a way to enjoy that weather this summer!

My cute little lime Hubway key fob.

We finished off KZ's visit with a trip to Neptune Oyster, so she could get her favorite buttered lobster roll while she was in town! I had the ribeye steak with green beans and pommes frites.  This place is a must if you are visiting Boston and like seafood (and, if you've seen The Town, this is where Ben Affleck and his ladyfriend eat dinner!)

I promise I will play blog catch-up soon! More posts to come.
What have you all been up to??

xox, Victoria.

lauren merkin via giltgroupe.

I am drooling over the selection from the Lauren Merkin sale on GiltGroupe today.
I have an embossed blue Eve clutch, and it is my go-to for a night out. Gilt has a great selection of spring colors and staple year-round colors on their sale, and they are half price!

I definitely recommend snagging one at this price while you can! The sale ends tomorrow at midnight.

Hope you're all having a good day! xo.

P.S. If you need an invite, here is the link.

neo-netural.

I don't have a ton of time to post today {I am working and then heading to a late night spin class}, but I couldn't help but share this fabulous neo-neutral M.A.C. clutch from Rebecca Minkoff.  Gimme!

mint deliciousness.

Mint is all over the blogs, Pinterest, you name it.
I posted some mint pins awhile back, but I still haven't gotten my fix!

Are you as big of a mint fan as I am?

Enter: The Chloe Madeleine Tote.

This bag is so simple, but the color makes up for every bit of its simplicity. Plus, the leather looks soo soft.

What's everyone doing this weekend? I went to an early morning spin class this a.m., and I am about to start some work. It's such a dreary day in Boston, so I am having a hard time getting off my couch!
I would love to nap all day and watch some cheesy 90s prom movies.

xx. victoria.

And, here are some more gorgeous mint pins for you!

ff + month of bags day 2.

Happy Friday!
Today I am linking up with {av} a bit differently - since I am featuring a bag every day this month, I didn't create an entire look.  But this still is my "Friday's Fancy'', because, well, I need this bag.  {av}'s theme for this week was Tangerine Tango.

Bond Street 'Florence' in Flo Coral

Kate Spade is such a go-to for a great bag. My sister and I gifted my mother one for her birthday last year, and I hope to add one to my collection soon. I saw this one shopping on Newbury Street a few weekends ago.  It comes in four other fabulous colors, including a hot pink and a lavender.

On a different note, I've decided that I want to try and save some money this month, so I am going to (attempt) not purchasing anything.  I am limiting myself to not buying basically anything I can put in my closet.  I have not tried to budget at all recently, so I really want to try and see if I can do it! I have seen a lot of bloggers, including {av}, do this. Wish me luck!!

month of bags - day 1

welcome to the month of bags.

i am slowly coming to the realization that i am fully obsessed -- a bag lady if you will.
so, the month of march is going to feature a TDF bag every day of the week, so get your wallets out!

March 1's bag is the Bela Satchel from Be&D. It's currently on sale on ShopBop.
I absolutely love the color combination, and the different texture on the croc-embossed leather flap. Plus, the detachable strap is a must-have for me (I love that I can use my Rebecca Minkoff M.A.B. both ways).

Do any of you ladies own a Be&D bag? I am dying for this one!
